Couple Photoshoot on the Kanisfluh Mountain in Austria

On 20th May 2020, photographers Victoria and Fabian hiked to the top of the Kansifluh Mountain in Bregenzerwald, Austria, with lovebirds Jana and Stefan. It was a cloudy day, and whenever the sun rays beamed through, they created the most beautiful light mood. Jana and Stefan both grew up at the foot of this remarkable mountain, and it couldn’t have been a better location for their photos.

Romantic Photoshoot in Austrian Mountains

You can see the remarkable rock formation of the Kanisfluh mountain in Vorarlberg from far away. We think there is no other mountain in the valley of the Bregenzerwald about which people wrote more poems, songs, and folk tales.

Not only the sight over this mountain from the valley is stunning, but the view you have from the top is fascinating. On bright days you can see over the peaks and hills of the Bregenzerwald Valley over the Lake of Constance. Some last sparkling snow patches are often on the surrounding mountain peaks, and the many small villages along the river are always fascinating to look at from above. With a little luck, you can see alpine wildlife like ibex or chamois in their natural habitat.

Jana Theresa and Stefan grew up and still live at the feet of this remarkable mountain in Vorarlberg, and we couldn’t have found a better location for their adventurous couple session. We picked them up in the afternoon, and together we drove to the start of the hike.

When we reached the top, the sun rays came through the clouds and created a unique light mood. We almost could not decide which direction we should use as our backdrop first. The couple’s photo session was so much fun, Jana Theresa and Stefan did run around, laughed together, cuddled, and enjoyed the epic view.

Before the first clouds started to turn pink, Jana Theresa and Stefan changed into a fancy outfit. The dreamy red dress from Jana Theresa was a perfect contrast to the alpine landscape.

To watch the sunset from the top of a mountain is always super special. This evening, no one of us was sure if we will be able to see the setting sun or if this spectacle will be hidden behind the clouds. When the first orange light rays broke through the clouds on the horizon, we were stoked to see this beautiful view.

A few minutes later, the sun shone through two clouds and made the Lake of Constance in the distance glow in a beautiful red.

Jana Theresa and Stefan were standing on the ledge of a rock, surrounded by the sunset’s orange light. They enjoyed the fascinating view over the valley and the Lake of Constance together. We captured these special moments and the last light of the day for them in this epic location.
