Rena & Thomas travelled to the Italian Alps from Hong Kong in search of epic scenery and adventures for their engagement shoot in the Italian Alps. What they didn’t expect for June however, was meters of snow on the mountains. The month of May had been so cold, and had brought a lot of late snowfall to the Alps, which meant that so many of the locations that they wanted to visit were off-limits for at least another few weeks. So it was up to photographer Cat from Wild Connections Photography to find them an equally epic plan B.
This stunning lake in the Italian Dolomites is known by many names. You might know it as the Pragser Wildsee, Lake Braies, Lake Prags or Lago di Braies. This stunning lake is causing quite a storm on Instagram, and it’s pretty easy to see why. It’s absolutely breathtaking!
